Day Wise Mysore Coorg Ooty Tour Itinerary
Day 01 – Bangalore → Mysore (150 km / 3.5–4 hrs)
On arrival at Bangalore Airport / Railway Station, meet our representative and start your journey towards Mysore. En-route, optional visit to Srirangapatna, the historic capital of Tipu Sultan. On arrival in Mysore, check in to your hotel. Later visit the world-famous Mysore Palace, the elegant Jaganmohan Palace, and seek blessings at the Chamundi Hill Temple. In the evening, enjoy the musical fountain show at the beautiful Brindavan Gardens.
Day 02 – Mysore → Coorg (120 km / 3–4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Coorg, popularly known as the “Scotland of India”. On the way, visit Dubare Elephant Camp where you can see elephant bathing, feeding, and enjoy optional activities like river rafting. Later stop at Cauvery Nisargadhama, a scenic island with hanging bridge and deer park. You may also visit the Bylakuppe Tibetan Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India. Arrive in Coorg by evening and check in to your hotel. Relax amidst the coffee plantations.
Day 03 – Coorg Local Sightseeing
Today, explore the natural beauty and cultural landmarks of Coorg. Visit Abbey Falls, surrounded by coffee and spice estates, followed by Omkareshwar Temple, known for its Gothic–Islamic architecture. Later, explore the Madikeri Fort and in the evening, enjoy a beautiful sunset view at Raja’s Seat. Free time for shopping in local markets (coffee, homemade chocolates, spices).
Day 04 – Coorg → Ooty (225 km / 5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to the queen of hill stations – Ooty. The route passes through scenic landscapes of forests and hills, with a chance to spot wildlife around Bandipur/Mudumalai region. Arrive in Ooty by evening, check in at the hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may visit Ooty Lake for boating or explore the local market.
Day 05 – Ooty → Coonoor → Ooty
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Coonoor, famous for its tea gardens and colonial charm. Visit Sim’s Park, a well-maintained botanical garden, Lamb’s Rock, and Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint offering panoramic views of the Nilgiris. Return to Ooty in the evening and relax.
Day 06 – Ooty Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the top attractions of Ooty. Visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point of the Nilgiris, offering breathtaking views. Later, visit the Botanical Gardens, Deer Park, Wax World Museum, and spend time at Ooty Lake (boating optional). Evening free for shopping for tea, essential oils, and handmade chocolates.
Day 07 – Ooty → Bangalore (270 km / 6–7 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Bangalore. Drop at the airport / railway station / bus stand for your onward journey.
